The Basic Green Smoothie

Seriously drink this smoothie way too much but it taste so good. This is a great meal replacement smoothie or my favorite, a post-workout smoothie.

Green Recovery Smoothie Recipe

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Muscle Milk Whey Protein)

  • 2 handfuls of frozen spinach leaves

  • ¼ cup frozen pineapple tidbits (I use Trader Joe’s)

  • ¼ cup frozen peaches (I use Trader Joe’s)

  • 1 cup Orange juice, not from concentrate

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender (I use my Vitamix) and blend until smooth.
